The Coney River was a river running along the eastern most borders of the Midlands in the Pendisan Reach. It was a side-river of the Kern River. It ran close to the boundary of D'Hara.
Where the river became broad and shallow was the town of Coney Crossing. At this place the river was easy to cross as it was only knee-deep at its deepest, and was only about a quarter-mile across. It was only treacherous to cross the river during the spring floods.
