The Mriswith Queen was a large red creature much like a red dragon except that her legs were more muscular and her scales looked like the scales of a mriswith. She laid mriswith eggs by the hundreds. The Mriswith Queen communicated by means of smells and aromas.
Richard was drawn to her by the Mriswith cape that he had retrieved from a Mriswith he had killed. He was lulled into releasing her from her bonds where she then used the Sliph to travel to the Wizard's Keep. She was killed at the Wizard's Keep when she fell off the bridge.
