The Paka is a plant which filters and thrives on the poisoned water of the Drun River. Due to the steel-hard outer shells of its seeds, paka is unable to reproduce itself naturally. Paka became extinct due to the actions of Richard Rahl, which stopped the Chimes and poisoned many Imperial Order soldiers.
