Synopsis[]
Richard is unsure of what to do. Seems to be giving up. He has taken Raina's agiel onto his necklace. Kahlan tries to give him reinforcement. Andolians arrive to see Richard. Kahlan explains who the Andolians are; that they love shiny things, and carrying messages. Kahlan finds out through Egan that the Legate Rishi and his six wives are those who arrived. The Rishi gives Richard the message from the Winds.
