A Witch woman is a powerfully gifted woman, rarer than Sorceresses.
Little is known about witch women, however it is known that part of their ability is that they can see events in the flow of time. Witch women cannot always call upon this part of their gift at random however, it can be a spontaneous occurence. It is said that using this part of their ability, comes at a cost for witch women. Witches often have visions of the future of their daughters.
Witch women cannot help bewitching. It is part of who thery are, their very gift. A witch woman sub-consciously bewitches people who set eyes upon them. A person under such an enchantment is a witch womans to command, however such a spell can be broken. This is why witch women have a deep hatred of Confessors. A Confessors power is final, where a witches is not.
The gift is different in different individuals, however it is best not to get on the bad side of a witch, as they are notoriously dangerous. The seventh child of a witch is special to her, for an unknown reason.
